Chicago's 2012 HIV/AIDS awareness day of workshops

On March 10, 2012 FAM Entertainment Theater Company, NFP will aim to reach 1200 young girls and women aged 13 to 80 through partnerships specializing in HIV and AIDS prevention and awareness thus provoking the audience to stream line the execution of prevention to their partners, schools, family members, organizations and ministries thus reducing the spread of these diseases while empowering the community to keep this difficult topic in the forefront of the community.

This FREE fun filled day at the Ford City Mall in Chicago will open with the Health professionals/participating organizations breakfast, followed by the open registration for public participants.  Speakers and presentations will begin at 8:45 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m.

FAM Entertainment Theater Company along with 20 participating high schools, top women’s health organizations such as the Chicago’s Women’s Aids Project and the Chicago’s Women’s Health center, The South Shore Hospital Wellness Center, radio advertising, the Chicago Department of Public Health, film director of the groundbreaking documentary "Dear Daddy", Dr. Nancy Santiago, local ministries and hopefully the City Colleges of Chicago, a renewal of the mind for many partakers will take place to break the often at times destructive series in their lives.
