Hey Stunnas,
It is very rare that I start a thread on any topic. But, today I'm calling all couples and relationship experts out there. I need your advice/input. Here's the question...
Being that we are supposed to be a family oriented club right, in your opinion is it ok for a Stunna to greet you with a hug as we do or hold a conversation with you, and not greet your spouse/mate (who is also a Stunna) while they are standing right there with you?
Here's a scenario...
Let's say it's about 4-5 Stunnas socializing together and another Stunna walks up and greets everyone in the circle except for your spouse/mate, when it's obvious everyone in the circle is engaged in the same conversation, and your spouse is a fellow Stunna. I'm not talking about this happening once or twice, I'm talking about someone that makes a habit of doing this.
This is not to say you will like everyone's significant other. You probably won't. And you may even have a genuine gripe with the person, BUT still, is disrespecting that person acceptable club etiquette?
My take (and let me say this again) MY TAKE on this is, no one, I don't care who you are should feel comfortable doing this. It is blatantly disrespectful. If you can't acknowledge a person's better half while he/she is standing right there with them, then don't acknowledge either of them. I would never disrespect anyone's better half. Out of sheer courteousy, I would greet both and keep it moving.

club or no club if you caint respects ones spouse you caint respect that person you greeted in the first place
in hindsite if a indivdual dont introduce they sig other at inital meetin thats disrespectful as well

I agree Repo but if they have been introduced and its obvious your a couple and that both of yall are in the same club and there has not been any animosity between either party, thats sheer disrespect in my opinion.

yeah im wit you on that...
but i aint gonna lie due to increased levels of intoxication sometimes i gotta be reminded of who is who...cuz alot of times if i dont know you i dont speak cuz im shy as shit and sometimes takes me a min ta warm up ....but IF YOU KNOW and you still aint...yeah smack yaself

I'm like Repo, club or no club it's totally disrespectful for someone not to acknowledge anyone standing beside you when they come up and speak. Perhaps you need to pull this person aside and ask them what's there problem, an let them know that stuff is disrespectful to you and your spouse.
Eventually this may cause you and yours some unecessary words like: Why bleeep does she or he always come up speak to you an act like they don't see me.
Then you find your self trying to explain something you don't even understand yourself. Get handle on it now or let verbal assault fly later.

Whats up bro, basically i feel you on this. and feel very strongly about this also. that is MORE THAN DISRESPECTFUL! and personally, i'm not one who handles that type of situation lightly. so with that said, there is something very serious that is going to happen with this type of problem among our "fellow brothers & sisters". and the next disrespectful thing some of them be doing is, when they see your other half by his or herself, they be trying to "holla" as if they have no respect of neither persons' relationship. if we are a so called "family", where is the RESPECT that we have for our fellow brothers or sisters? this B.S. needs to stop for real, cause i guarantee one day, its really gonna get ugly!!!

SO , I'M ALSO AT THE POINT THAT I'M GONNA ADDRESS IT TO THE NEXT STUNNA OR NOT. YES, ITS VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!! AND ITS WORST IF YOUR MATE OR SPOUSE ALLOWS IT.
