The ALCOHOL vs. WEED ARGUMENT (A Candid Comparison)

WELP!!!!

ALL wrong. (1) If marijuana isn’t addictive, why are there withdrawal symptoms? (2) Anti-depressant by way of hallucinogen? Okay. (3) Actually, you’re four times more likely to get lung cancer from marijuana than cigarettes because while smoking weed you generally hold the smoke in longer and release it slower. Also, THC doesn’t “cure cancer,” it just relieves pain and stimulates appetite for those who are at the tail end of their fight with cancer and experiencing severe discomfort. (4) “Zero deaths in history”? That’s a little hyperbolic. (5) No and no. People go to jail for marijuana use/distribution every day and they cost the government just as much to prosecute and incarcerate as anyone else. Sin taxes on alcohol have been paying for state infrastructures for years. (6) Fair. (7) Really? I’ve never heard schizophrenia described that way. (8) The reasons why alcohol and marijuana are respectively legal and illegal have more to do with behind-the-scenes politicking than their actual considered harm. The government doesn’t care about your welfare. *No Debbie Downer tone intended*

Don’t want to piss in the punch bowl, but I don’t know another drug with users quite as in denial about its negatives. JUST SAYIN!!! *ducks to miss bullets....DONT SHOOT THE MESSENGER!
